Myrto at the Zeffirelli Traviata
Parsifal spent his Saturday night at home, organizing an one-man opera-night. The menu contained the 2000 Liceu Turandot with De Vol/Farina/Frittoli and Macbeth with Nucci/Verrett (the film). During the 2 sessions Parsi received 2 very interesting sms. One was from my dear Myrto Papatanasiu who 's actually in Brussels, singing the role of Sifare at La Monnaie (don't miss it, and if possible GET ME A RECORDING!) ......
...............and the other from Marita Paparizou, a young greek mezzo who 's actually in Bilbao singing Smeton next to June Anderson's Bolena at the ABAO (premiere on the 20th of October). Marita will be singing Isolier in the Athens 2008 Comte Ory.
