Libera me Domine...

As mentioned below, my first upload at Parsifal´s 12 months ago was a beautiful, unique, absolutely flawless Mozart Requiem with two greek participants, maestro Karajan (of greek origin to be more accurate) and Agnes Baltsa. So, i thought that the new "year" should begin with another Requiem (a Verdian), a Requiem also unique and greek... Here's what i found:

G. Verdi
REQUIEM

Dimitra Theodossiou, soprano
Andreana Ashenova-Nikolova, contralto
Rumen Doikov, tenor
Dimitri Kavrakos, bass

Dir: Vyron Fidetzis
The Athens State Orchestra
Live at the Athens Megaron, April the 8th, 2005
An in-house recording, very good sound (but Parsifal was seated very close to the orchestra and you know how the ba-ba-bum Requiem is).

Part1
Part2

Join the 2 files with HJsplit, and you 'll get a .rar file containing 2 mp3's ripped at 320kbps with cue sheets. Opening the second cue sheet you will get the "Libera me domine" of Dimitra Theodossiou (if for some reason this is the part of the Requiem you first listen to -as Parsifal always does...).

Enjoy and write your comments!
