I am that merry wanderer of the night! I jest to Oberon and make him smile !

Friends inform me that the first performance of Britten's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" was given in a half empty "Alexandra Trianti" Hall but also that the production by Robert Carsen and the sets and costumes of Michael Levine were stunning.

Oberon is sung by the exquisite Lawrence Zazzo, Tytania is Hélène Le Corre, Bottom is Jonathan Lemalu and the Orchestra of the "Opera de Lyon" is conducted by Constantinos Carydis.

Last performance, tonight and Parsi is gonna be there!
