E la nave va !!!

I really can't fight it. Opera is everywhere around me...

Today at work I had to deal with two vessels, called Tosca and Donizetti. Oh c'mon! I'm trying to concentrate, don't do that to me!

So, I used vesseltracker.com (now, that's a link you 'll never find at any opera-blog)
and tracked these ships down...

TOSCA

DONIZETTI

There is also one called Wagner (for MostlyOpera)

And plenty of others with names like Rossini, Verdi etc etc...

I hope the next time my boss asks "How is the Tosca going?" I won't answer "Good, she's maaaarvellous, a bit shrill at the high notes but her Vissi d'arte will bring the house
down"...

ps. Today I had some ships at the port of Surabaya...You can assume that I was singing "Surabaya Johnny" all day long while working (sort of...).

Thank you. Very touching. But you somehow avoided mentioning the three vessels named Parsifal. Not to mention the Lohengrin or Wotan vessel...

Hehehe. Indeed. But I had checked and they had no photo available, neither Parsifal nor Lohengrin...Of course the first thought I had was to find a Parsifal vessel (they are a lot of yachts but I was looking for a biiiiig ship).

Ιπτάμενο Ολλανδό δεν είδα!
