Parsi received an unexpected Christmas Gift: Legendary greek-romanian soprano Marina Krilovici, has set her vast archive at my disposal. Numerous unknown performances, audio and video, from the Met, Hamburg, Brussels, Koeln, Vienna, Athens and elsewhere displaying Marina Krilovici's art. Recordings with singers like Plácido Domingo, Franco Bonisolli, Tito Gobbi and of course with Kostas Paskalis.

The task is to digitalise all this rare material, videotapes, reel-to-reel tapes, cassettes, LPs etc.

Day #1/Recording #1. Montreal International Music Competition, 1967

Marina Krilovici wins First Prize, sings at the post-competition Gala and receives a standing ovation:

"Miss Krilovici, a 25-year-old opera singer trained in Bucharest, earlier won first prize in the Georges Enesco International Festival and the international vocal competition in Brussels.

She got six curtain calls and a standing ovation from orchestra and audience for her renditions of L'Air de Lia from Enfant Prodigue by Debussy and Pace, Pace mio Dio from La Forza del Destina by Verdi."

For the record, 1st Prize also went to Yuri Mazurok, while Gwendolyn Killebrew received 3rd prize and Vladimir Atlantov won 4th prize.
