Tickets for the recital of Jonas Kaufmann in Athens on January the 15th went on sale today.Divine Jonas will be accompanied by the Athens State Orchestra (...) under maestro Michael Güttler and will sing arias from operas by Massenet, Flotow, Bizet, Puccini, Gounod.
Parsi is a proud ticket-holder and will start stalking Jonas as soon as he sets his foot on hellenic ground.

Parsi, have fun. We saw Jonas as Des Grieux in Chicago (oh yeah, I think Natalie Dessay was on the bill, too...). What a revelation and he didn't have to take off his shirt. What an exquisite voice, extraordinary dynamic range and control. He's truly someone who could sing the phone book and make it sound like lieder.
