Ervino not singing Pagano

More cancellations for Erwin Schrott!

It seems that after cancelling the Rosenblatt Recital at Cadogan Hall, London on the 11th of June, and getting sued, it's time for the Teatro San Carlo di Napoli!

Erwin dad-to-be (even if the Treb baby is not gonna be his first...) was supposed to sing Pagano in the performances of "I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata" at the Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, opening on May 16th.

Ruggero Raimondi will sing Pagano instead.

In the cast you will also find Tito Beltrán.

Schrott and Beltrán in the same cast?
What an excess of testosterone...

Double damn... I have tickets for the 24th and was looking forward to Erwin just to see what all the fuss was about. Raimondi, Lordy I haven't seen him since the Beranza Carmen back in.. never mind it was awhile ago.

Still puzzled that Beltran is still on the cast list - any idea what happened to him?

To place Schrott and raimondi up on the same scale? No way. I don't think that Erwin's camcellation is such a big loss for the role and for the audiences after all. Pagano needs a bit less of testosterone and way more of experience. By the way, you didn't sound cynical at all. You just stated things as they are. Kudos for that...
