It's been so long since the last time I wrote anything regarding the operatic Brangelina, our Rubertu and Angela... Where have u guys been???
Last night our wonderful (duh!) operatic duo, gave a concert performance of Mascagni's L'Amico Fritz at the Deutsche Oper of Berlin. Suzel, the girl that won't wait for the guy to take the first step and Fritz, the rich landowner met on stage once more to live their romance, in this beautiful, somewhat dull opera that as we learn by the DO website has been described by George Bernard Shaw as a work that combines all the properties of a beautiful general holiday.

do you really think they're wonderful or do you just follow the trend of other bloggers who regularly report on these popular but mediocre singers? It looks like you actually approve of glossy opera singers.
Don't make me say things that I don't want to... I don't believe that the Alagnas are mediocre. I think that they could be great singers if they were not arrogant and they worked harder. Oh! And by arrogant, I dont necessarily mean their behaviour towards others but their behaviour towards music. Roberto singing Radames and Angela singing Tosca. I think that Angela for example is a great Magda in La Rondine and could excel in works of the lyric repertoire. But she doesnt compromise... Same thing with Rubertu. Do you believe he's a bad Des Grieux in Massenet's Manon? Or a bad Romeo? I don't. But he definitely ain't Otello, or Radames or even Mario... If you check my posts regarding Rubertu you ll find that the writing style is an "affectionate irony". Check the post of Alagna in a speedo, Alagna singing Orphee, Alagna and his passions (the documentary) some posts ago...
creo que antes habia en el post otra foto de Alagna que mes gustaba más, era más el mismo...¿que ha pasado?
Pues, q aquella foto era del recital comun q dieron en NY, mientras estas son fotos de esta mismisima noche del Amico Fritz.
