Tic tac, tic tac, tic tac...
More on Rolando, Live in Athens...
Rolandito (apart from Onegin and Werther, already posted here)
will also sing "Tenda natal" from Ponchielli's "Il figliuol prodigo" and "Ah!fuyez, douce image" from Massenet's Manon.
***This is an update of the update, with more on the Recital***
Nino Machaidze will sing "Ah! Non credea mirarti - Ah! Non giunge" from La Sonnambula and Juliette's "Je veux vivre" and together with Rolando they will sing L' Elisir d' Amore duett and "Va! Je te pardonne" from Romeo et Juliette.
So, let's sum it up:
Rolando: Des Grieux (Massenet), Figliuol prodigo (Ponchielli), Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Werther (Massenet)
Nino: Juliette (Gounod) and Amina (Bellini)
And of course the 1.233.456 encores they 're gonna sing us as we will never let them leave the stage....won't we?
Oh! And still you can buy your Rolando t-shirt here and here and here for you kids (with Rolando's sketch on it- dammit, it's just kids-size...)

well, it starts sounding good .. i mean the program :-) Don't see myself wearing a t shirt with pictures on it and i even find it strange that they seel such stuff. Back home we have a word about making money even out of dry stones ;-) But the one for kids is cute! And definitely not for kids only, knowing the opera...they definitely got the marketing wrong here :-) Now that i would wear! Because his drawings are really brilliant!
